Hi Friends!
So this blog essentially was dreamed up to talk about life on the island (Long Beach Island, NJ). Even though there is already a TV show dedicated to depicting the exact opposite of the way we all live and portraying us as loud drunks with spray tans, I felt like those who are the lowly locals and employees that have to deal with those .... individuals... deserved a little street cred. Plus, they've got it all wrong, we don't spray tan.
And here we have it! Although a small blog on a free forum.. it's a start! Essentially I will be delivering reviews of all of our favorite eateries (legit ones, don't expect me to sugar coat)... day to day encounters with the shoobs/GTL-ing population... happening events going on... and pretty much whatever else happens to cross my fabulous mind. Also included will be delicious recipes, contributed by yours truly, as well as some culinary genius friends. So, if you have a recipe, a hilarious story, a review of somewhere you ate, a band you want to promote, or anything else you think is worthy of this page, email it!
